Crossroads Treatment Centers, Inc.

+ Testimonials
If you are a graduate, or parent of a graduate, of Crossroads Treatment Center or Lane Education, we invite you to send us a summary of your experience with us as well as an update on how your life has evolved since graduation. We will post selected testimonials on our website. Please either mail your information to our main office address, attention Laynee Kuhn or email them to laynee@crossroadstreatmentcenter.org.

+ Mentors
Crossroads Treatment Center would like to invite all former residents to consider being a mentor for our current residents. Many of our clients are struggling with issues that can be eased by sharing them with individuals who have faced similar experiences. Your time commitment could be as little as two hours per week, but the impact you could have upon a young girl’s life would last a lifetime.

+ Speakers
Several of our former residents have returned to speak at staff meetings to assist our residential counselors, facility managers and social work staff to better understand the perspective of the young women in our program. Topics have included former resident’s experience in the group home and how they felt their experience could have been enriched. If you have a story to tell about your experiences in foster care, please contact Laynee Kuhn, March McPherson or Stephanie Fisher to schedule an appointment.

+ Parents
If you are the parent of a former resident of Crossroads Treatment Center, we invite you to participate as well. Please send us your thoughts on both the positive and negative experiences you had with the foster care system. We are currently involved in a state-wide project to revamp the way in which services are delivered and are interested in including input from parents. We are preparing a questionnaire, so please contact either Laynee Kuhn or Robert Pye if you would like to participate in this groundbreaking project.

+ Advocacy
Representatives from our agency annually participate in legislative days at the state capital meeting with representatives and receiving updates on key issues. We invite former residents and parents to join us in our advocacy efforts.
